Ribbon Flowers (Petals on a roll)

As featured in September 2006 Making Cards Magazine

We now have a new ribbon in stock, seven petals makes a flower.  The finished size of the flower is 4cm, so it is perfect for smaller projects too.

At the moment we only have it in silver, but gold will follow shortly.

These stunning flowers and fans are created very quickly and easily.  Cut off the correct number of petals for your flower, pull up the two ends of the string and tie together in a double knot.  Using a glue gun, layer the flowers finishing off with a central jewel or accessory.

The following samples are just a few more ideas for Christmas, Weddings, Births, Birthdays.

These flowers can be attached to wine glasses, candles, christmas crackers, pew ends or to make wedding table decorations to create a stunning centre piece. The flower is easily removable when a glue gun is used and the glass can be washed as normal.

The white satin leaf petal can be changed to any colour you like using Marvy le Plume marker pens, the first sample above is using colour no.2 red, I have also used dusty pink and wine markers on other samples above.
