Scrapbooking on Canvas.

This new technique has taken us by storm. very popular, using two 6" x 6" canvas with crackle glaze on the front and back, then decorated to a theme inside. 

 

Flower Soft.

If you havent seen this yet, it is a small pot of spongey flowers!  We have taken a piece of wire, dipped it in glue and then into the flower soft, wait for it to dry and arrange in a really sweet looking bouquet of mulberry paper with a 2mm pure silk ribbon.

 

Quilling.

 Another beautiful design combining several shapes and colours. All using 3mm papers.

 

 

 

Fashion Stickers

We have made this card using the fashion stickers and cutting away some of the design.  It takes time but the finished card is stunning.

 

           Ceramic Painting.

A water based paint can be sponged or painted on and then baked to become permanent in the oven.

 

 

Silk Painting.

Three colours are splashed onto silk and using salt, a textured effect is created. On this workshop, we also teach stamping onto silk with rubber stamps and how to outline your own design.

 

Mail Art Rubber Stamping.

We have used  small rubber stamps in a collage to create this new look.  The mail art rubber stamp is used first, then place a plastic template over the top and carry on stamping. Finish with a chalked effect and edged in silver or gold. 

Makins Clay.

This card was made using the new makins clay.  It is air drying within a  short space of time, it can be moulded or punched to produce lightweight shapes, easily stuck onto a card.

 Ribbon Flowers on Cards.

 

These new  ribbon flowers are stunning and very easy to produce.  They can be used for all occasions, birthdays, weddings, embellishments for presents, candles and champagne glasses.

 

 

 

 

 Sandy Art.

 

  Anitas  peel offs are used as an outline to sprinkled sand and glitter dust.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   

   Parchment Craft - lesson 2.

 

  Using the semi-square tool and the four pin tool, this beautiful card is created. The shimmer effect of the flowers is iridescent medium over water soluble crayons.

 

 

  Butterflies on Parchment.

 

  Using gel pens in copper and white, the butterflies are in 3D with stickles to add a touch of glitter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  3D Stencilling.

 This technique involves 3 layers of stencilling using oil based stencil sticks to create a 3 dimensional painted look.

 

 

 

     Foam Cards.                                         

 Working on 5mm foam board, sections are padded and material added to create a patchwork effect.

Try this simple way of painting floral pictures using acrylic paint.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  30th, 40th, 50th Anniversary Cards

 

 

 

 

 

 

    Encaustic Art.

 Wax is melted and smoothed with an iron over glossy surfaces to create fantasy

  landscapes.

 

 

 

 

  Peel offs on Parchment.

 

Using this delightful peel off on rainbow parchment, we have used pearlescent inks and 3D technique to finish.

 

 

 

 

 

  Shadow Painting.

 Using a light box, the outline is traced with a resist paint. Water based inks are then used to paint in the picture. Salt sprinkled over wet ink creates the textured look.

 

 

Lacé.

  Metal templates are used to cut a variety of surfaces using a craft knife. Scored and folded in different combinations creates geometric images.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Serviettes on Parchment.

 

 Serviettes are stripped, and the top layer glued to parchment. Using a large embossing tool, the parchment is shaped, cut out and given a 3D effect using silicone glue.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sandy Art.

 Using double sided sheets of film, sand is sprinkled in graduating colours. Stick the holographic butterflies on first!

 

 

 

 

Rub-ons.

So simple to use but very effective. Use the tool provided in every packet to rub on the transfers to acetate, paper, card, candles, tiles, wood and much more.

 

 

 

 

Cards with vellum.

Peel offs are used as a stencil to create patterns on parchment.

 

 

 

 

 

Wire and Bead Cards.

Starting from a straight piece of wire, using pliers and cutters, shapes are made with beads added to make this suspended trinket.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Iris Folding with ribbon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Acrylic Floral Painting.

 This fascinating technique is easily learnt to produce beautiful floral pictures.  Two colours sometimes three of acrylic paint are blended on the brush before applied.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Punch and Lace.

 This  technique is easily achieved by using the hand held punches with many different shapes.  The diamond and circle have been used on this card.
